Will FTO seats fit into a Lancer?

I was looking at buying some fto seats for my lancer.

Will they fit with the standard rails? If not how much work needs to be done in order for them to fit?

this is a guees, but think that they'd go straight in as fto shares chassis with lancer apparently

CE lancer i.e.
No idea on whether it will fit or not though. Buy the rails for it too ? Not expensive from wreckers i'm sure.

Save the extra and get the Evo Recaro's ... They will fit with the Recaro rails ... I put the Evo VI into my CC with no drama's ... front passenger ... Straight in ... Front driver, just needed the bolt hole to be widened a bit to make it not on an angle .... (or was it the other way round) ... rear was direct fit too....

let me divert the topic a little..

what about lancer seat rails...would they into FTO...I saw a set of recaro seat rails for lancer, would they fit the FTO (ooo... cos i have a set of recaros on FTO rails, and they are not best)

When my Evo project comes out of the panel shop I can try to see if they bolt into the FTO ... But may take some time as the car is getting stripped back to bare metal to be re-sprayed...

The lancer is my daily driver, my other car is a TT soarer

Its okay I might take the seats out of my brothers fto and try it if I get a chance.
