Part Numbers Now Added to Complete FTO

Post by dstocks »

Have now added all the DE3A part numbers (some 6500 of them) to Complete FTO (All FTO Parts). Still dont have applicability yet (am still struggling with that one).

So what you should be able to do now is navigate through the part breakdowns (Under Part Breakdowns menu on LHS of page) untill you find the illustration with the Part number code relating to the bit you want. Type this number into the Find box on the right hand side of the screen and you will be given a list of all Mitsubishi Part Numbers that relate to that Part Number Code. Clicking on one will take you to that part (which does not provide much extra at this stage - looking to start to add pictures & other info soon)

NOTE: none of the new part numbers have been added to headings yet, so the only way to find them is the result of a search.

      Fixed

      Post by dstocks »

      Fixed - Well mostly.

Cheated a bit (thanks BorepYano - saved me a LOT of time) - just pointing to the web archive for now (have an archived version of whole site though). 4 pages were indexed but not captured:

      removing the reverse beep
      wiring a stereo
      fitting a rear strut brace
      replacing the springs

Will make it a priority to replace these when I can

        Car or website

        Post by dstocks »

        On which front.....

On the website - after a couple of hundred hours, still trying to reverse engineer the model applicability for part numbers (ie which parts are GPX which GR etc), plus get a whole stack of photos of parts up, plus a list of all options from CAPS (pretty much have this, just have to do a little cross checking).

On the FTO - trying to extract the Climate control wiring from a GPX loom for splicing into my GPvR (which doesnt have climate control). Why you might ask. Well buggered if I have an answer - just for the hell of it I guess. Also need to put my CAI into my new FTO - manual facelift (will require changes)

On the simulator - Cut the front off just in front of the front strut towers and the rear just behind the rear strut towers. Have to put the dash etc back together. Have the brake feeling about right and have the controls for the accelerator in place. Have to work out how to get the whole car to bank left and right when the steering wheel is turned next. Know how to do this mechanically, just may run into problems with the weight.

On the Club front - need to get my backside into gear and organise a Wakefield park day so I can meet some of the Sydney members hopefully and provide something of substance for the club. Have someone lined up to provide advanced driver training as well (ex Bathurst/rally driver)......

In short, I need more time........
