I would just like to voice my frustration with autobarn - the fuel pump in the car packed it in so off to autobarn for a new one, they sold me the wrong one i found out after the mechanic tried to install it, because it had been placed in car (smealt like fuel) no refund or exchange -$200 out of pocket. Anyways i can get over that so paid for another (the right one) mechanic installs it and WTF it doesnt work... back to autobarn no refund or credit as it has to be sent to the manufacter for testing another $230 out of pocket... finally paid for genuine part $400 and yay it works... didnt get it from autobarn though

WTF....how can u not be able to get refund when they give u the wrong parts....i will definitely complain / make it big enough for them to do something....dont just let it pass man....

yeah dont give in eh.

the general rule, if u kick up enough stink they will give in.
most companies weight things up this way:
if cost of replacing/refund etc < legal costs if it does get out of hand then they will always give in if u kick up enough stink.

so far i've managed to get about $500 of bs bill from three dealt with this way lol

Andrew omg... thats like the 10th story ive heard about fuel pumps being brought from ANY autobarn in QLD. they all "are sent back to the manufacture"
and you never get your money back.

Employee's @ autobarns across the country i would just like to point out.. ARE WANKERS!

EMPLOY PEOPLE WHO KNOW WHAT THERE TALKING ABOUT!!!
