Nope, tigers are well awake, no drugs.
The monk has got a great control over them,
last time there was an accident was apparently about 5+years ago, someone lost a leg

Its a place called tiger temple,
http://www.tigertemplethailand.com/
we did the last tour on the page I think, Tiger Temple, Kwai Bridge, Floating Market, Caves, monkeys, etc...
It was a great experience and great people.

I had even better time at the elephant camp
http://www.changthai.com/
3 days Mahout training, the best highlight of the trip, spectacular, inc scenery, people, animals

Phuket was really bad, I wouldn’t go back again even if someone pays me for it. St Kilda beach is even better. Really commercial place where people constantly touch to your pockets to see whats in it. I spent 3 days in Phuket, first night we went to FantaSea. it was great, well recommended
http://www.phuket-fantasea.com/
2nd day we did John Gray's kayaking tour, again it was magnificent, even visited James bond island
http://www.thaiwave.com/benjarong/aqua-action/index.htm
3rd day, I hated Phuket town so much that, I spent the hole day in the resort. I was glad to leave that place at the end.

We went to a small town called Ao Nang, near Krabi and stayed at this place
http://www.krabibooking.org/krabi/centralkrabibay/
You can only access to this resort by boat, no road, no car access. Great view and there is a large wild monkey colony that leaves near the resort where they come up to the beach at sunset.
The people of Ao Nang was very friendly and nice. This town is very small and not yet screwed by commercialism.
So really enjoyed this part of the holiday as well.

Also spent 3 days in Chiang Mia and Bangkok each.
Bangkok has really impressed me, very modern city actually, great shopping, however, a lot of people trying to con you constantly. you cant really trust anyone.

Chiang Mia is the best out of all, I loved that place. I would definitely go back again.
