AJ you should talk to the RTA about the whiplash. My mate had a prang like that a few years back & the RTA provided 3 free massage sessions for his neck :)

Thanks for that Tanya. I did check out that website earlier and I've also joined another 4x4 forum but can't start new topics on it just yet.

mr-charisma, it's ture what you say about the cops, they don't do anything, but if I can find this guy, well like you said, nuff said. What would the police do if someone hit them and drove off? The chopper would be up in the air straight away and they would radio it to everyone, but not for Joe Public who pay their wages.

I've emailed the TLLC to see if they can keep an ear to the ground.

Cheers for the idea Bennoz. As long as it's not from some Paddy and Selma look a like at the RTA, it might be good. Who did he speak to at the RTA?

Geez AJ, sorry to hear about this. Strange thing is leaving the scene of an accident is a criminal offence, I cant for the life of me understand why the Police didnt pursue it??

As far as Workers Comp goes, only if the drinks were sanctioned by the company, ie they invited you, you will not be covered I'm afraid. So if it was a situation where someone was leaving and a group of you decided to head to the pub for an unofficial farewell, its not classed as a journey claim.. Sorry...

Thanks Kaz. Yeah, we can't get it but to be honest we are feeling better every day anyway. Cops are sh*t. Got the damage bill yesterday, $10,000 luckily we just pay the $500 excess. I'm really nervous driving now and haven't had a MIVEC moment since.

I know how u feel AJ, I didn't want to drive after i had 2 accident with in 4 days, one truck hit me from the side and spun me 180 degree across a busy Hwy which i missed the on coming traffic by few inches and then i got side swiped by another FTO (non-member) 3 days later.

It takes a while to get back to normal. What you need do is to curise out with few of your mate, so in that way you "mentally" feel saver and back to normal in no time.

Perhaps a good reason for the NSW members to orgainse another cruise

"bring AJ back to mivec moments" cruise lol

yeah mate, i've just taken on the mentality that: if it's going to happen, it's going to happen regardless what u do, and vise versa.
so dont worry, if u dont drive like an idiot then u should be fine, unless u have real bad karma lol, then there's nothing u can do lol
