NAGOYA Motors in Sydney
Does anyone know much about these guys? i live in SA but they have a black FTO that looks good in the pics apparently done 81k km's (i know its still wound back as are all imports). But at 12,900 asking price i think it would be a good buy as its stock so getting it through regency here in SA (police) would be ok. Only thing is i don't want to buy and get stung, does anyone know any info on these importers?

You reckon a lot of the imports are wound back? I spose it is possible. I must say that Ed Lee's in Sydney have a hell of FTO's with 48000 - 49000 km's. For legal purposes I'm not suggesting anything but I bought mine from there and the gearbox is going and the engine mounts and it only has 55000 km's. I'l let everyone make up their own mind.

Na i got the manual, they screwed me around massively though. The first car I purchased couldnt get complied, the next car they offered me was a 99 model and miraculously a week later it was in from japan and changed into a 97 hmmm. In the end I got the 99 one but it was in crap condition and not really like they advertised. Moral of the story I waited over 6 months for a car and didnt really get what I was after. Cause I'd payed the deposit though I had to take it. I'm never gonna deal with those guys again.

Fair enough ...
I saw a couple of cars that they had listed on ebay... (was looking at a Blue Evo they had) ... Sent them some questions, and they never got back to me ... I know a few people that have experienced the run around like that too...
Have heard some people that are 100% happy with the service and the cars they bought ...
On the other hand, have heard some not so positive stories about some cars bought ....
I guess at the end of the day though, a used car is a used car... You don't know if you are going to be getting someone's "Pride and Joy" or someone's "Problems" .. And "Good Service" is going to be different for everyone...
I know that I probably have some customers that are more then 100% happy with service my company has given them, and then I have some other customers that feel they have been under serviced ... Trying to find out the customers expectations, and then matching them is pretty hard no matter what industry you work in...

I got mine from Racecourse Motors in Randwick, It hasnt had any major issues and ive done over 40,000km in the last 9 months in it and its still running smoothly
the only issue with them that i had was that it took them two months to have the car complied when they told me they could have it done in two weeks, the gave me some bull sotry about how no cars where abole to be complied as the guy in Canberra who makes the Plates had Died... So i was running around in a Suped Up Ford Fiesta that they leant me for the last month

i bought my car from Nagoya......was happy with the purchase. $11k for 95 GPX with 75k km including 3yrs warranty and 1st oil change service for free. all i had to fix was front shocks and swaybar links...
also went to racecourse Randwick when i was shopping around...they had a same model (but in blue) but was asking for $13990 and was not willing to drop the price much....so.......end up at Nagoya
