Sorry, but that arrangement is really bothering me

That also means we have 8 sides of the stand to make pretty... and why are we in the trader hall?.... listening to all the obscenely loud doof for 2 days straight will send everyone batty. Why cant we be with the other clubs?

Can we ask Alisa to change it? I can ring her if you like.... we can just say we haven't got enough gear to go around 2 seperate lots.

I just rang & left a message. I explained that the display is really designed on having a central focal point (ie the banner, screens & flood lights) & that we'd have to rejig the whole arrangement if we were to spilt into 2 groups... not only that, we'd need a secondary power point in order to light up the second section.... and a second flood light. Will keep you posted - if she rings you let me know as well

yeh, that sounds like a right prick of a place to be situated ... Would be annoying as hell being stuck next to the DB Drags for two days ...

If we had the gear to pull it off, it would be awesome - as you would get 90% of the thoroughfare heading past the trade stands which are always near the entrance.

But traditionally, club stands look like sh*t compared to full pro setups like JB Hifi, Sony & Pioneer etc with all their full aluminium scafold & light setups... we got a sh*tty bit of floor fabric & a spot light

Ok, its not as bad as first thought, yes we are in 2 groups, but we back onto a wall one side we back onto the back of JB Hifi on the others. Much like Sammi's pic, here's another one showing the display & screens, our little seating hidey hole behind it & the tyres. We also have power running to both sides now too. And thank god JB Hifi is facing away from us lol... And we're near the caffeteria

So what will everyone be running on the screens?

I just remembered I was going to try and get a disc of photos etc to Sam but didn't have a chance.

I will be down on Saturday I'm hoping so I can burn a disc of photos and drop it to the stand on Saturday if you'd like.

ben has black flooring.. i dont want to put my stuff down if it will look out of place.. i have metalic silver material.. suppose if you have like green or something under your car? lol i dunno anything i guess..

see what happens on the day & what looks good. id say plain as i doubt anyone else will bring material?

What about lighting under the cars? I reckon some fluoro's with coloured celophane covering them & chucked under the cars might look alright... would this be too much power drain if I can bring a couple of these?
At least just for the two cars near the stand...

Only issue with more electricals is that they have to have been tested, certified & tagged by an electrician....
