right on Delvance, some1 has been paying attention!!

A manual FTO will pull 105-10 atw easily depending on mods
A tip would be lucky to pull 100 - stock

I get 112 with a SAFC2, cat, muffler and CAI and mine is tip...

If your getting more with a tip with no mods then your result is just bs - face reality its been covered lots of times.

Having tested the gains of most of the mods (like many others) and shared results now got about 3 years I'm pretty confident I know what gain you get with each mod...aka the whole MIVEC controller thread.

Once you've done intake, exhaust & piggyback - dont waste anymore money unless your going for forced induction...

Take it from a man who's spent 3 grand on his engine & only runs up 120kws on the dyno

I put 10k into my Sonata/Evo project and only walked away with 147.8 .. Actually it was prolly more like 12k but close enough ... About another 8k later I had 238.1 ... That was only at the front wheels though ... So yeah, now I have spent another 9k (put it all back into an Evo III and updated cams, cooler, and some other little things), but not sure what it will pull at all fours...

Hrrrrmmm .... 22k went into the Sonata and that was just engine ... Then there was the initial 28k to buy the car ... + stereo ... 3 rockford amps, Alpine type R subs, Boston Pro front and rear, 1x 7" screen for the front, 1x 9" roof mount, DVD player, PS2 (which now sits at home anyway), all the Apexi gauges, the avc-r, etc. etc.

All that money on a Hyundai ... Seems kinda silly when I look back at it, but boy did it fly ... And was a great sleeper ... Many a car lost to that baby ...

Really? I got 111kw @ the wheels, and no aftermarket, or piggy back ecu ...
My old tip' GPX also got 111kw atw, standard apart from a pod and was running 98 octane gas at the time.

Torque figure was shite though lol.

Different dyno's, different readings. Mine read 120 on the Croyon Dyno & 112 on the UAS... keep that in mind when comparing apples & oranges.

and 110 to 120...not much difference anyway to may variables that could cause that but as Ben said, mainly the dyno. B

The dyno reading is just a number.

We are talking low numbers 105-111? not much differenece anyway in reality for the effort and money your spending.

Manual conversion is the best mod u can do for your tip.

Yep so true! The FTO is already so highly tuned from the factory, not much is gained from mods.

I dont understand how people bother after the mods you stated. Bloody Cryo things, gaskets at throttle body etc etc. Just a waste of time. If you want to beat a VTEC YO!!!!! go get some other car.

:P you could strip away your interior (dash, seats spare tyre etc )
    fit light racing rims
then take the aircon, stereo and other non essential things out
