.:Intro:.
Why would you want to remove the intake manifold you ask? many reasons i say! you will need to remove the intake manifold to change spark plugs, spark plug leads, fuel filter, adjust tappets, polish your intake manifold. It takes about 15min to remove the intake manifold given the right tools.
.:Tools Required
Hex Key Set
10mm, 12mm sockets
.:Step 1 - Remove the air intake pipe and mivec cover (for gpx):.
If you cant do this, don't continue...
it should look like this now

.:Step 2 - Seperate the Throttle Body from the Intake Mani:.
To do this there is 5 bolts holding it in place, from memory they are 12mm bolts. But dont pull off the ThrottleBody yet. For your ease i have provided a photo

.:Step 3 - Take off all the bolts holding the intake manifold down:.
Outline in the photo below

.:Step 4 - Remove intake valve sensor:.
This requires a hex key to unbolt but isn't all that hard.

.:Step 5 - Remove rear intake manifold bolts:.
Just remove the top few, theres no need to remove the ones that are really far down. Be careful of scarping your knuckles against the firewall when doing this, because i wasn't careful and

.:Step 6 - Seperate Throttle Body:.
slowly pull the throttle body off the intake manifold, do this slowly as to prevent damage to the gasket! once down put the gasket in a safe place! you will need it again later!

.:Step 7 - Removal:.
this stage is simple, just pull up, but make sure all the bolts and vac lines are taken off first.
