yeh everything i try to open takes ages, but like you, it is only slow with opening topics and not sections.

i thought it was just my connection going through a dodgy period but obviously not :?

Server is getting hammered I'd say. Also a few oddities which you guys could help me with while I try & sort it.

The avatar resizing function isnt working, so those of you who have been too lazy to do so, please do, or I'll do it for you. B0rep I've already done yours as it was killing the speed. If you need to know how, its stickied in newbies.

Also, please dont use the quote tags in your signature, for some reason you cant close them & it ends up quoting the entire page a rooting the formatting & again killing the speed. Sam, I've pulled your out as you may have noticed.

Should be ok now. If you get the phph debug error, dont worry, your post has been made - but it will come up as unread.
