I stumbled upon this car today, i have seen the site before, but he has upgradd to a gt30 turbo, and has been dynod at over 500hp !!
the site even includes a list of every modification made, most of is in japanese thoguh, but would be a great to base the turbo kits whcih were talked about here on it

I spoke to Moritaku by email a couple of times quite a while back here is some of what he said.
Hello!
E-Mail thanks!
As for FTO which 6A13 was carried on, it doesn't know as for the details.
But, one owner of FTO which 6A13 was carried on is known.
There are many cases to change into the engine of lancer evolution in Japan.
Many VI is in the version from IV.
It often change the engine of lancer evolution comparatively
because GS of the grade of FTO is a serial 4 mind pipe engine.
Moreover, the engine of lancer evolution faces the power up because it is sturdy.
Hello!
E-Mail thanks!
I am sorry that an answer becomes slow.
Sorry to say, a 6A13 FTO has already caused an accident,
and they are the vehicles which haven't existed any longer.
My FTO is tiptronic.
But, the inside is a little remodeled so that it can stand the high power.
4WD FTO doesn't exist in Japan.
It is difficult beyond the bolt on turbo.
Thank you.

Never really had any doubts about the gearbox Mikey, i still recon a tip box without being strengthened with an oil cooler would probably handle 12 psi quite comfortably maybe even as much as 15psi.Ive given mine hell and havent broken it. Remember its torque that destroys gearboxes generally+turbo power is progressive and doesnt subject the gear box to the shock load that say a supercharged engine would. Either way that bloke has a very nice setup, which over here would probably cost inxs of $20000! Nice very very nice

if THIS is the dyno chart you are referring to, then either it's old (coz it's only peaking at just over 340hp) or it's the equivalent power at the front wheels for the 500hp motor...
and IMO the dyno chart could reflect the power at the flywheel, coz when you think about it he is using a 600hp turbo therefore to generate 500hp at the wheels, he'd need a crapload more than 600hp on his motor (assuming 20-30%% power loss through the drivetrain like any typical FWD)
