Where to buy

Post by lwrida »

I need a place in Sydney (preferably) where you can buy the cam and crank seals other than Northshore Mitsubishi.

Any one know of some places?

Try Northshore Mitsubish... failing that try Northshore Mitsubishi

Sorry mate, they are gen & FTO specific parts. If you dont wanna sleep on your front cause of Mitsi's prices, you could try a Mitsi NZ or Kempys.

Nar I might look stupid but I'm not that stupid to buy second hand cam and crank seals.

Anyway, sorted those parts out thanks for your help everyone, now I'm in need of a thermostat.

I'm looking on the site delicashop and seeing if they have it. But does anyone know of where I can get one of these from and the part number if you have it from the place.

Cheers

You could always order through a stealership ....

Not sure if a lancer or mirage one would be the same... Can you see a part number on your existing one ??? If so, just hunt for the same part number...

Failing that, you could try just jap ... But I asked them to do a search for me the other day for some parts, and they never got back to me ...

I have gotten almost all my parts for my car from stealerships. Mainly the Northshore Mitsi one.

And thanks to this my repair bill is up to almost 2 grand without getting this condenser

I will need to check the spot for repair. I would sell it for around $300 as they are quite expensive.

You can check buy calling the guys in Brisbane, forget their name they have them and its reco for about 500 and new for about 700 from memory

Some1 else might have one.

I'm just happy that my car is being fixed by my mechanics mechanic. Hes doing in his own time and hes a great guy and hes a perfectionist, if something is not right and not clean enough he will clean it. Cheering.

And with my losing my licence 2 weeks ago I don't mind him taking his time as I can't drive anyway.

I should have taken some pics of my engine when it was pulled apart.
