Adelaide autosalon?

Post by sunset_angel »

I noticed a post on the front page about all the other Autosalon's and was wondering if anyone knew if there were any plans for the Adelaide one?

Ooooh... did you just nominate yourself as the organiser!? :D

I dunno when the Adelaide on is, but if you can get numbers together Im sure I could either get down for it, or at least get the club stand down to you.

Going by recent Cruise turnouts, I think we may be able to scrounge up sufficient numbers to make it worthwhile.
If you decide to come over Bennoz, We'll have to organise a cruise in your Honour LOL  Im sure I could find some nice roads in the Adelaide Hills to mark the occasion...

As for dates, 11-12 August is Autosalon for Adelaide. I will be in Townsville mid July to Early August, but back in time, so if someone else wants to organise it, that would probably be better than me trying.
I'll be there if we can get it sorted though :D

Here is the site >>Autosalon<< if you want to check it out.

LOL, I wasnt stealing at all. In fact, I was encouraging you to organise it cos I wont have the time coming up to August. I dont know what you need to do, but I thought a link to the Autosalon site would be a good place for you to start. Im sure those responsible for organising our displays in Melbourne and Sydney would be able to tell you whats required too... <nudge>

LOL, I think your reading these posts wrong. No-one is trying to take your glory...

Having never organised anything like this though, I suggest you ask someone from Melbourne or Sydney what you need to do.

thats ok if somthing gets organised it would still be fun to get our cars in autosalon even if there stock, i havnt done much to mine i recon as long as there polished up and cleaned that should be fine. we need the numbers thats what would make it interesting and exciting.

yeah.. its just dissapointing to see your car go backwards after you put so much time and effort into it.. but yes.. i will be willing to show her off at autosalon if theres spaces available.. if you look on the carsales ad you will see what kinda rims i have on it at the moment.. that might appeal to a lot of the autosalon crowd, even though I dislike them greatly (hate is such a strong word)...

never know.. might pick up a buyer there..

cheers, tushar

p.s. is there a fee involved?

yeah price wouldnt be an isue

but i dont think it gonna happen i havnt heard from sunset angel she said she would be organising it .

its only around 2 weeks away it may even be to late to enter our cars well theres always next year.

that will give us plenty of time to get our cars to perfection, he he.
