Stock LSD
Does anyone know what type of LSD is in the FTO (cone, viscous, clutch plate etc), my gpx has an LSD but maybe slipping, not as much when doing a burnout at the drags both wheels will spin with no problem but when I had it on the hoist I can get someone to hold one wheel and with some force could get the other wheel to spin, I work with many cars with LSDs and it takes a lot more force to make them slip.
Anyway does anyone know if there is a service kit for the factor LSD like a new set of clutch plates etc.

Helical is the way the gears are cut not the type of diff... please correct me if thats not what your talking about. Most modern road cars use helical gears in both the g'box & diff... track cars can have semi helical or straight cut for more hardcore applications.
Here's a pic of the final drive gear (which meshes with the diff crown wheel) in my mini - note the different between semi helical & fully helical.

same, I have never heard of a helical LSD, but RPW does a LSD that works with gears,

I'm not sure how it works, never seen one of these before.
