My amazing fto journey had almost come to a end

Post by bonker »

Hi guys i guess we all come from the same boat, i love my 96 black fto gpx trip 18 inch roh rims, Apexi jasma exhaust 4.5 inch tip, standard engine, standard body slightly lowered, momo steering, i love my system 2x 12inch fusion subs, jbl 6 by 9`s, infinity 6 inch cones, powered by ma audio amp 1800 rms most of my specs i got when i bought it, the system was mainly where i put my money on. Wells yesterday i was parking in a mall someone unknown hit the front of my car i assume he/she was reversing out a huge dent on my front bumper appeared to be damage from a boat hook connect from the back of the person`s car, which also pushed my bonnet and bent it and you can see it sticking out of my car, and the front bummper was sticking out with lose bolts, both front headlights was dis alligned, and my left fog light look as though it was falling out, what really shocked me when i got back to my car, was a yellow paper on my windscreen and when i pick it up and read it it said im really sorry, which was the shock of my life. This morning i woke up and realised dammz my fto is gone, i headed up to the smash repair and i asked for a approximate quote, they asked for 2500k or maybe even more as this point i thought, i spent almost 24 hours worrying. I went to my girlfreinds house and her father is a mechanic and fixes almost everything from electrical to panel beating and full paint jobs etc... I told him its not urgent but i was worried my batteries were going to run out cause the front bonnet was causing the inside car lights to be on. In a duration of 3.5 hrs he spend on it. He fix the whole bumper no more cracks or dents, the bonnet is connected properly now, the bonnet looks a lot more straighter now, he just asked me to try find a front right hand light, and also the bumper lights columm and he can fix everything for me once i get the parts.

So sorry, to hear that mate.

Any chance of the shops having security camera's. That may have caught this.

Not that I guess it matters. agreed with Sam. It's who you know. Good luck with finding the parts. Shouldn't be too hard if you call around some wreckers I hope.

Also who you know
