Tip tronic gear lever removal

Post by Astron_Boy »

Hi all

i did try to search, but obviously must be typing in the wrong words.

need to remove the cover underneath the gear lever, i have got as far as removing the rubber boot around the shifter box, then removing the centre trim garnish, but i need the cover over under the shifter arm removed so i can put the plus symbol back at the bottom of the shifter.

anyone direct me to the how to post, or inform me?

okay, i'm kinda in a bind with this.

The damn nut that holds the shifter onto the spindle, I cannot remove.

no matter what I use, it will not undo, no pair of pliers will even make it turn.

anyone have a way to make it turn?, don't wanna spray wd40 down there.

btw yes I am turning it anti clockwise.

any help appreciated.
