LSD and Traction Control

Post by Astron_Boy »

Okay guys

I did search, and I even did research outside of this site, but everything is just so conflicting, I don't know what is the Real answer.

If I could be directed otherwise, much appreciated, but I will ask.

Even with dstocks webpage, It's kinda hard to tell.

So I ask, is traction and LSD a standard feature, or atleast a standard feature in the facelifted 97-on GPX model?

I can tell you 100% that LSD is in the GP 97 and as far as I know it is also in the GPX, as for traktion controll if you have that I think there should be a switch in the car that you can turn it on or off if it is in there not a 100% on that

I believe LSD was only standard on the Version R and Yellow Lim. Ed. FTOs.

i know 100% its a facelift gpx, done the homework on that before i bought the car to make sure i was getting what i paid for.

its not a gpvr, i know that one. no single color seats, no glowing scuff plates, no braces, stock exhaust, etc etc, etc

Echoing joejoe here. Only GPvR and CoTY edition FTO's had lsd as standard.

Traction control was always an option, never standard. Glowing scuff plates were also an option, as was the ralliart catback exhaust. a lot of GPvR's have the same exhaust as a GPX.

No biggie. For normal street driving, an LSD would be almost useless (or just useless :P ) but if you like your curves then yeah, it's quite nice to have. For tracks, i hear it's much better to have one... i'll let you know when i come back from wakefield :D

you could be still lucky, I think the LSD was an option for the GPX just like the traction control etc.

LSD and Traction

Post by dstocks »

LSD is standard in the GPvR, the Yellow Car of of the Year FTOS and an option on most other models. traction control is not standard on any model and is an option on some models:

:o very nice! That's an amazing time for a stock GPX, if when you said stock motor, you mean you've done absolutely no mods to increase performance at all. Goodstuff!
