hmm k thanks

do you run a softer front damper than rear? maybe thats why you get understeer? with mine the rear dampers dont matter.. the sharper you turn is completely dependent upon how stiff the front is :x

i dont want any understeer in my setup... might get custom d2 coilovers :)

Hey mate,

Nope my front's are stiffer. The HA's have 16 adjustable settings, my fronts are 5th setting and rear 2nd setting. I find front ones on 5th setting is a good compromise between grip and ride on sydney roads. If you have really sticker rubber with these suspsension on, i don't think you're gonna get understeer short of something stupendously fast for the corner you're attempting lol. Oh btw, i get slight oversteer with these too.

Shame you're not in syd, i'd take you for a test drive.
Just took a workmate for a test drive after work, first serious corner i took, he gripped really tight and "oh sh!t" lol... trail braked into a hard left.

Thinking of bridgestone re050s or yoko s drives as my next tire...should reeaalllyyy grip then :D

haha ok fair enough

got a quote the other day for something described as semi-semi slicks because of the wear etc you get with semi slicks on road you almost get the same wear with these plus they have some water passeges.. no idea what they're called though.

Semi semi slicks, interesting.
My mate was running semi slicks in his x1/9 and they actually lasted quite, well, around 30,000kms i think. Toyo ones. Crap that thing handled, scary =/.
But meanwhile, i'm really happy with my adrive r1's. They are really predictable and progressive, easy to manipulate and have fairly good traction.

GL with your setup!
