dont you love it when the years just fly past lol

Happy Birthday :D

as for banks a credit union is good as fees are a bit lower than others,
and you should get a debit ard as you can use it as a credit card but you only use your own money :D

Aye.. Happy Birthday! :)

I'm with Commonwealth, wouldn't recommend them since they started charging me fees... If you're under 21 they're ok though..

Ok go to Suncorp and get a "VISA DEBIT CARD" and with the account type get "EVERYDAY OPTIONS"

http://suncorp.com.au/suncorp/banking/p ... tions.html

Pay only $5 a month, don't get charged for ANY!!! bank fees :)

this account rocks because it can be used as a credit card, but you can only withdraw money from your account when you have money in it :)
trust me get this account :D

Cheers jason

If you not getting a loan, then almost every bank and credit union are the same. They all have this $5 a month with unlimited transaction.

I had a very bad experience with St.George, the bank manager cancel an appointment at the last minute, which we already made a month in advance, worst he didn't even make an effort to see us when we told him we can see him anytime instead

And Happy B'day Mike :D Now you are one step closer to become a grumpy old fart

Along with the de-regulatuion of the banking industry there are some really handy credit co-op's out there!

No fees, good interest!

I am however with Comm atm, and I have always been pretty happy with them.
