CAPS Figures

Post by dstocks »

Decided to start a new post for the figures I have managed to extract from CAPS:

http://www.completefto.com.au/FTO_showcontent.asp?aid=457

Needs a bit of a tidy up yet (and a bit of a cross check). Not exactly what you would have expected.......

Oh and I havent checked Disks A, B and D for extra FTO's (although these roughly match the figures repoirted elsewhere)

      Yep

Yep, done some cross referencing already - things dont add up (havent seen a couple of those links though). I would trust this source over most of the others though as it lists each chassis number and was officially released by Mitsubishi.

[edit]Now im really confused :? The 2 PDF files (which are released by Mitsubishi) list figures that are definitely wrong. Ive cross checked the numbers in CAPS against the figures I have posted Up and the only conclusion I can come to is that the figures in the PDF files are out (I have chassis numbers for every item ive counted and they pan out when I check them). But its an official Mitsubishi document.......[/edit]

Do have some other figures too, just havent had the chance to analyse them yet. Also, dont have the key to some of the codes (option codes for each car and interior codes for example).

Think ill probably be able to get other stuff out as well, it will just take time. Has taken me about 15 hrs so far just getting this out. But hopefully now that I have the key, some of the other stuff should fall out a bit easier.

Will put together some code and upload to Complete FTO that will allow individual chassis numbers to be queried and also maybe the ability to start to store locations and people against those numbers (and maybe pictures too). Hoping to start to collect info that may be of use to potential buyers with respect to car history etc.

There's figures on the GPvR and the GPvR Aero but what the hell is the difference other than one having Aero after it :?: :?
