Okay... I've always wanted an aston martin.. DB9/7 or Vanquish.. theyre all sexy... So i bought an fto instead... Check out how similair they are...

You know why they look the same from the front? Cause it was designed by the same guy.

Really designed by the same guy??? Thats awesome...

I've always thought it looked more similar to a Jaguar XK(/R)

After a bit of googling;

The front bar for the FTO was designed by Aston Martin, (or borrowed from the same style). The exterior of the FTO was designed by a guy named Eiichi Okuma.

I don't know what to think about that.

Its well done, so good on him for doing it successfully, on the other hand, is he simply ripping off a successful high class performance cars looks for his what would be dubbed 'rice rocket'. :? :lol:

It's not mine, it's SMATs from the UK FTOOC. I was just having a nose around your forum and found this post and thought you might be interested to see his front bar.

I'm not sure about it myself, but He's happy as a pig in sh1t!
