What do you do with 2 broken headlights, an oven and a little time on your hands........

You see how easy it is to bake your lights. I know lots of people out there have displayed an interest in getting inside the lights to do a little painting. Well, here is a guide to take you through the process of how this can be achieved....

      okay this may be a stupid question but is the oven you used gas or electric?

      Oh and thanks for the guide now i got somthing to do tomorrow

        I baked mine in my oven to paint the insides. I have a Gas oven. Wasnt a problem. :D

        100 degrees worked perfectly for both lights I have chucked in. No melting whatsoever

          150 is fine as well, cos i got impatient when i did mine lol

          and i think fan forced is better cos the heat is distributed evenly.

          I have the same problem, what to paint the inside of the lights. Cooked my lights today, really easy following Dwayne's guide.

          It was with great trepedition that my lights entered b0r3ps oven today :lol:

          (let me type that name normally, for the love of god)

          I have to say though, that oven has probably baked more lights then cakes of recent... so I guess if I was to actually feel safe baking my lights anywhere, it'd be in his trusty oven. :lol:

          It's pretty easy to do - just bleeding annoying having to take off the front bar to get the lights out.

          Once you've done it once though, it's pretty easy to do again... and faster :D

          my mate recently installed some halos into an is200 and used a heat gun and found it real easy to do 8)

          well since we moved in to this place we've baked 0 cakes, 2 batches of beef jerkies, and 6 head lights 2 fog lights for a total of 12 times. lol

          I second that it appears to be much easier and safer then i first thought...

          Mind you my worries were with B0R3P standing outside with my other light and a dremel making all sorts of cutting noises... 8O
