the FLOW OF GAS!Camo wrote:Bennoz wrote:Your turbo runs off the exhaust, so you have to butcher a set of extractors to plumb it in. Yes it would be better nice smooth flowing pipes, but $$.
What?
the turbo is going to run off the exhaust??????
now i'm confused too!

extractors (called a turbo manifold in a turbo car) ---> turbo ---> turbo spins ---> out the back of the turbo (downpipes) ---> cat

Well, if its just recreational track work, then the RPW's are pretty damn good. However I'd probably avoid the cermaic coating... you really dont need to waste that extra couple of hundred pounds on something thats going to give you a couple of hundedths of a HP.
Pretty sure either Ricerocket or Camskill are distributors for rpw over there. Value for money would be to buy a set over there rather than have a set custom made.

Just a friendly reminder, we don't endorse street racing. So of course his asking about the tracktintin wrote:when you mean racing do yo mean on tracks or on the road?Bennoz wrote:Are you doing any racing?

Id say its not worth it. What boost are you running and when do you get full boost?FtoSam wrote:Ummm turbo kit already done... turbo on... all done....
Just wondering if changing my std extractors would help...
I could get 5psi by 3000rpm running standard manifolds and they would flow enough to see that held till 7500+rpm don't see any real gains coming from aftermarket manifolds unless you are after far higher power outputs.
