Offset question..

Post by ygoslo »

Found some nice 2nd hand Japanese wheels for a good price but I need to check if they'll fit:

17x8 +32
17x9+36

Any chance of squeezing them in if I roll guards, fit stretched tyres, cross my fingers, squint and swear a few times???

Need to know ASAP. any help is greatly appreciated!

17x9 not a hope, it will touch your suspension.

Yeah thought they might, have 16x8 on now and need some small spacers to clear the struts. I just thought with them being a +32 that might sit them far enough out to clear struts.

Am happy to use spacers if need be too....

Im running 18 x 8s on a 36 offest with a 3mm spacer & it still rubs on full locks... and there's but millimetres gap between the trye & the spring cup. Hit some gravel after a hot lap & makes heaps of fun noises.
