Fitting a K & N oil filer?

Post by Daz_FTO »

did a small filter/oil change service on the car over weekend...

I figured i'd buy something slitghly better than the old Ryco Z411 this time. I didnt realise the K&N is about double the diametre of the ryco - and i that always had a very snug fit to get into place.

To get the K&N fitted i eventually pulled the little spillway (beside starter motor?) below the oil filter and squeezed this filter in there. By this stage i had already looked at feeding it down through the top and sides...all meant removing something. Oh and no wheel stands - made looking for things to undo beneath the car a little hard also.

I was getting prepared to play soccer with the thing!!!

anyway, i thought i'd share :)
