Mivec

Post by dstocks »

Just testing the waters for interest in a low mileage mivec. This engine is out of one of the cars I picked up a while back (95 GPX). Not exactly sure how many kms on it (as speedo was not in car), but is probably not high as the car entered the country in 99 and was never complied (so engine has not done any work since then. My guess would be around the 50000km mark. Engine would come with alternator, AC motor, starter motor etc, but would not include gearbox or clutch at this stage. Have already removed engine from car and is ready to go.

Any other questions, send me a PM and happy to answer. Can do pictures too if that helps.

    Yep,

      good question

      Post by dstocks »

Now theres a good question. Ive got a tractor thatll get it onto a trailer, but from there im in the dark. Would have to be a courier/transport company of some kind. You would also need at least the ECU (which I have). Sounds like khunjeng might be interested in your old one.

yeah any GRs in good condition i'm looking to buy. I want a rebuild project in my garage. if I did I will go a small turbo setup.

um...cc... actually my GR had already run 210,000kms in its life, but the engine is very clean and never had any troubles with it after i own it for one n a half year. I got it when it hv been done 180,000kms and hv two trips to Melbourne with it before. . . So khunjeng
if u hv interest, i can give u more details lol...

Actually i m going to Sydney to find my friends on the 24th March to 31 Mar... but i think i can neither put an engine into my car n bring back nor take the GR one n fit the Mivec in, haha.......
um.......how much would be around for the frieght anyway?@@"

About $500 will get an engine moved between states... trust me. That was also the best price I've had!

just curious, do u only want a GR to work on cos it's easier to turbo and u want to work on it urself?
I have to work - People on the dole depend on me.
