Just for the record, IndyFTO was the original owner.

Yup, the plates are on another car, saw them on a car at Maroochydore on the sunshine coast a few months back. Cannot recall what it was... might have been a HSV... IIRC it was white.

Plates are now 96 GPX... and yes very happy with the car and glad that I didn't have to spend the money on it that has been

This was Qld, I'm pretty sure when I saw that FTO in a HOT4s Mag it had Qld on it, and the HSV at work a while back was Qld plates.

But I gotta say that FTO is a pretty good looking car.

Was in hot4s and another magazine I cannot recall off the top of my head. I really should get back issues of them, would be kinda cool. Be interesting to see what had changed between then and now... like the rear brake lights for instance :(

I wouldn't want those plates though to be honest.

Each to their own but I just don't like 'em.

Mayaps my personal taste sucks - guess I'll just have to deal with that :D

Least I got one thing right... got an FTO ;)

Had some interesting "spin" (or what I assumed to be) was the seller said something along the lines of. "It had it's own body kit custom made... then everyone else attempted to mimic it". Even if this is true, which I wasn't going to take at face value... the front bar does not appear to be the same one as it was back in the Fast4s shoot.

http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/wsavage/FTO96GPX

Compare the fast4s shots (first 2) with the rest of the photos.

It looks like a Project F West front bar in the intial shots and then a Bozz Speed bar in the later ones (or something similar) ... you guys know more about the kits then me... so any thoughts?

My guess somewhere along the line between IndyFTO and myself the front bar and the rear lights were replaced... no idea why... but fair enough.

Luckily I'm not too phased or annoyed because to be honest I didn't even know what the hell the "u like" FTO was. I was looking for a car for a couple of months - with nothing really in mind.

One weekend one of my mates made me start looking at Supras... probably because he wanted one himself ;) I personally didn't want a dual turbo car :S anyway ended up in a car yard looking at one when a FTO caught my eye... thought to myself wow they'd look hot lowered, with a kit and no wing... thus the FTO hunt began. Lo and behold this car was on car point.

But yeah... I wouldn't have minded the originals... a wee bit hotter but I'm still happy.

Really want to do something with the rear lights pretty desperately.

its the Bozz speed from bar. He ripped off the DC front bar and they put on the BOZZ. I know cos at the same time I bought my Bozz speed bar from DMD in QLD who said he was in getting the same bar fitted.

THe DC skirts he had the fins cut off.

But it was and still is an awsome car with some wicked interior mods.

You should be happy cos when i looked the price was very cheap.
