Car Alarm Vs Reading Lamp
My Car alarm stopped working afew days ago the central locking and imobilser still work but the alarm wont make many sounds, this morning i got out of the car and the reading lamp would not turn off, so i pulled out the bulb and when i turned on the alarm it made its usual beep that its meant to make but hasnt. Is it possible that it could be the car battery thats affecting this? maybe its time to replace it

Its the Black Widow from Strathfield http://strathfield.com.au/ViewProduct.asp?ProdID=79 Well the alarm stopped working it just stopped making any sound altogether, the only time it works is when i use the panic button on the control, I gave my car some really hard bangs trying to set it off and it just wouldnt go off no matter what i tried.kid_dynamite wrote:What alarm is it? When you say it stopped working, what exactly stopped working...
Did you play around with anything / install anything at the time when the alarm started playing up?
More info please...
The only thing i did was reset the ecu but that was 4 days before its stopped working, apart from that everything was as normal
