Installing the Monster Tacho is simple. In my FTO I tapped in to the back of the cluster. There is a screw with a (+) sign behind the standard Rev gauge. Unscrew that screw, and connect the appropriate wire to that. The other wire's are Positve and Negative terminals that connect to a 12V source, and if I remeber correctly there is another wire to that controls the shift light on the Tacho as well.

Hope this helps

It is where your existing speedo and rev tacho are.
You need to remove the two screws above the steering wheel.
Then slide out the panel that has the Fog light buttons on it.
Make sure you disconnect the button.
Then unscrew the clear plastic cover in front of the gauges.
The whole thing should pull out, when all the screws are out.
Then you wire it to the back of the cluster. There is a screw with a (+) sign behind the standard Rev gauge.. That is where you connect the appropriate wire to.

The "cluster" is what the gauges and rev tacho are!!

Off the top of my head, you can only connect a wire to the engine bay if you have a carburetted car. Otherwise you have to connect it to the computer in the car. This bypasses both of them..
