Reversing lights

Post by Lemo »

Hey all,

The reversing lights on my FTO don't work and I am trying to hunt down the problem, I have been trying to locate the swith in the gearbox for the lights and I was wondering if anybody could tell me where it was and if someone had a wiring digram for the circuit??

Cheers.

The switch sits right on the front of the box. Sort of underneath your intake pipe. Will see if I can scratch up a pic...

Mine comes on maybe.. what, like, 50% of the time. Doesn't really bother me but cause if you tap the brake lights they brighten up the area 10 times better then the reverse whities anyway.

It's this one mate :D

easy enough to test. use a multimeter (set to continuity beep) touch the 2 terminals and nothing should happen. Select reverse, touch the 2 terminals and the meter should beep. If no beep, then it's shot, buy new one
