i noticed a high pitched squeeking noise while i was driving yesterday. not sure where it is coming from but its not inside the car. the only time it stops is if the car is not moving or if i am using the brakes any ideas what it could be?

You're outta brake pads. Sounds like the low pad indicator touching the rotor.

I have the same problem. Started with this high pitch scratchy noise every now and then, but now it's solid.
So, time for new brake pads! What's a decent brand that won't cost me the world?
