They dont because its just not required.
I dont disagree,

Instead of guessing or inventing your own theory do some UOAs on your oil over time and see how it degrades and then decide your OCI...

If you have seen the test done on cheap crap like magnetec u would change it more often

take the guess work out of it.

im not objecting your comment, I was agreeing to it!

I was more refering to non Synthetic oils.

If i knew the engine was a weak one, I would change the oil more often.

I know the FTO has a weak auto thats why I dont it often!

Isnt the service internval at about 60000kms?? I do it more at 20000kms.

Um on a different tangent I hardly drive my car at the moment, maybe 100 k's a week sometimes less. So it's likely I could go a very long time on the same oil. Does oil degrade overtime just sitting there?

Yes it does
I think it can only stay for an X amount of months before it needs an oil change whether you put 10km on it or 10,000km

like most things you usually have a time or km rating..since I have always dirven my cars a lot I have no exp. with this.

I think 100km a week is ok. this equates to about 5k per year. I think each year you you change all your fluids if want to be safe.
