Hey no power and jerks when accelerating

hey guys i was traviling and than i notice than my car wasnt accelerating properly and was jerking can any one give me any suggestions on what could be causing this.

Same Problem as me and a couple of other's i think...i dont no it could be something else.

Check Other Topics To see if there are related Problems.

Its a bitch i got to drive to 3 hours tomorrow might be the fuel pump

hmm im surprised nobody's replied to this with a solution, i was interested to know what could have been causing it.

seems like its for automatic drivers only so far though

I think it might be the same as the other threads going around..and from the descripton its hard to know what is going on.

well yeahh im an AUTO-TRIPTRONIC driver...soo hmmm

That means you have 2 ECUs to check then. Engine & tip ECU.

quick question ben... when checking the error codes.. what happens if theres no errors? no light?

If some reason the ECU has been reset it will drop any codes it had stored, you'll need to replicate the problem & try & check as soon as possible to when it happened.

If there are no codes full stop, then more than likely the problem is mechanical & not electrical / sensor related.

torque convertor!

When you let off the brake at a set of lights your car does not go slowly forward any anymore does it??

Check the oil, black oil????
