fto tank can get up to 60L according to their official standard...

i never reached 60L as well.. the most i get is 54L when the red light is on...

tried united before... they have 95ron with ethanol and 98ron with ethanol... filled it three times before... but doesnt make any difference thou.. i shall go and fill them up again next time since they are so much cheaper than the standard 95ron and 98ron...

Is there two different lights on the FTO fuel gauge? One orange and one red? :?
You never get a second chance to make a first impression.

when my dial is sitting at E i get 40 litres in but ive never seen fuel light come on
The dial is same for me too,
however, the needle goes well beyond E

Actually, I used to joke around with Kev and few others, as they clamed over 500-550kms per tank, whereas, I only used to get around 360kms

Now, with bit of patence, I wait till the red light, and 520kms last tank with very sportive driving, red line very often, at least few time every drive...

Filled up with Shell 100RON this time, and it seems that I will get well over 550kms...

I think the dial is simply dodgy...
Certainly worst design part of the car, same for every other FTO I have ever seen.
I dont think they designed it that way as a reserve

mine is pretty accurate and line line with other cars I have or have driven. I have about 8l left at the bottom of E...which is normal to give u some left incase u forgot to fill up.

DO YOU REALLY BELEIVE the marketing, you think they are selling you a better product which is therefore more expensive but its just premium with ethanol.Look outside the square Turn it UPSIDE DOWN A few years ago they were in the sh*t for adding ethanol to regular unleaded to increase their profit margin now they add it to premium, tell you it's better and charge you more. Yeah it does work. I certainly felt the difference but it pisses me off that they charge a higher price for a product that cost them LESS F@*%ING BASTARDS

my car is now tuned to 100RON. If I use 98 you can certainly see the Knock sensor go crazy under high load...i.e. there is a difference between the 98 and 100...however yeah it sux about the price considering its a 5% mix.

Hey Chris, did you change the engine oil before you start to use 100ron? I want to know if the engine cleaning additive really work.

yes.. i got average 560 out of a tank BUT when my the fuel needle is sitting on the first 1/4 mark, it says i've done 195kms in just a quarter tank, and im sitting there thinking "woohoo, 800kms out of 1 tank here i come" and then by the time it's down to the 3/4 mark i've done 420 already (dunno how the fcuk this works!)

however yeah it sux about the price considering its a 5% mix.l7
Oh yeah I agree as soon as I'd run up 100 ks and retuned the ecu it felt much better, also a squirt of "NOS in a can" into the mix is even better but the extra cost for Vpwr sux big time considering it costs less to refine. Any-one else used NOS in a can or the alternative octane boost

I'm about to change the oil in the FTO. Its run about 10k with redline 5W30 now..I have an oil analysis pack ready to send a sample off for testing...will be intresting...

I can tell you the oil still looks very viscous still, brown but not black..

I tuned the R33 and put in some new Redline 10W40..I will wait a good 7k before I do more tests to see whats going on.

Anyway the 100RON tune was for the line..not the FTO..I didn'ty get much of a gain with the FTO and decided to use BP Ultimate in it.

Oil bro. I remember Optimax left some "wonderful" residue in the engine and you can see the engine oil isn't fantastic either.
