Need an FTO Halfcut (Brisbane)

Post by J_Tee »

Hi All,

I crashed my FTO a few months ago. I need a halfcut, namely bonnet/front bar / 2 headlights/radiator assembly/air conditionining condensor.

How much should these parts cost and what is the availability like? Does anyone know any good wreckers I should try?

It was bad luck for me but now I'm trying to get it back on the road again. I was quoted $5000 for a half cut with no engine. no gear box. I was flabbergasted...it SHOULDNT be that much even for an FTO.

Thanks all

if you get a full half cut with engine and manual gearbox i will buy the gearbox and drive shafts and CVs that should help then you should be able to sell the motor for about 2 grand

Mate,

After dealing with many places over the last 12 months and feedback from the other guys in the Queensland FTO group.

There is only one place you should go and never go anywhere else ever again...................:-)

Nihon Car Parts - aka Joe and Riks Mechanical Repairs.

32 Bailey Crescent
Southport QLD 4215
Phone: 07 5532 0706

They source Half Cuts and various parts from Japan and have a Mitsubishi trained mechanic from Japan to service your pride and joy.

Cheers

Chris
