What's pissed you off today - The Rant Thread
Figured we needed a good rant thread, where you can bitch and moan till your heart's content.
My rant to start this off - D!ck-head Customers.
I've recently been dealing with a guy in an old mazda 121 bubble. His suspension was f@cked, so he came to us to get a quote on new shocks, coils, bushes and everything else. After doing up a quote with everything needed and requested (at a damn good price too), I didn't hear from him for 2-3 weeks. Now he's just called us back, having sourced all the parts himself, and wants us to fit them for him...
I'm currently tossing up whether or not to book his car in, because at the moment he's basically slapped us in the face by saving himself maybe $5-$10... Chances are he'll have ordered the wrong part for something, and we'll have to organise the correct one anyway. If he was always going to get the parts himself, why ask us for a quote on parts in the first place? Could have saved me at least an hour of running around trying to find parts for his sh!tbox.

There isn't enough capacity in this forums database to withstand what I could rant about.

People capping out their 5gb data limits on their iPads each month, claiming its work related purposes.

Stupid government employees....
I got my Certificate of Proficiency (Trade papers) today and they put the wrong trade on it
I have to send it back with copies of TAFE transcripts so they can void it and issue the right one.
@fraz...Tell your customer if you fit the parts he purchased elsewhere that you won't issue any warranty or if he wants warranty then you will still have to charge him the original quote.
At "Mister Minit", if you supplied your own immobiliser blank key (eBay) and wanted it cut and programed we would charge the same as if we supplied the blank key.
ie: $130 for us to supply, program and cut...$130 for us to program and cut. Then we could supply warranty.

The awkward moment when my credit card declines on me as I'm trying to pay for a parking ticket. Car was locked inside a multi-story car park until I could locate the cash to get the f**k outta there.
