Re: EOI dyno day
I would so have loved to dyno the rvr.
Oh well.
If I get the new car up to a decent standard I might run that, be interesting to find out.
Sadly wagon still out of the picture.

Re: EOI dyno day
Count me in, pending dates.
While we're there lets do some actual power mod testing. Let's designate a car and test some different things from different cars on this specific car. Start with the car as is as the base, then test different things and see what makes any difference, then re run the car as is to confirm the base. Good opportunity to test different intakes for example. Needs to be simple bolt on / bolt off stuff though. Could even test things like different oils if we wanted to go to extremes.

Re: EOI dyno day
That's a good idea Shane
I can say that the uas pipe gives aprox 5-7kws, running the air con takes 10kws.
I have done other tests as well but I can't recall them at this point.
AJ I am hanging out to see your beast up on the dyno im still jelus that you got the car but happy to see it getting fixed up to how it should be .

Re: EOI dyno day
Two key graphs we will want for each car;
KW / AFR vs RPM.
KW / Torque vs RPM.
Also if we can get the full data file for each run in Excel or Word would be great. In 50rpm increments.
Very important also that they synch each cars tacho to the dyno. No point doing comparisons off road speed, needs to be off engine rpm. The data file should include recorded road speed though.
Just a few things to ask when organising aza

Depending on when it is, I'm definitely interested.
May be able to get my mate with a VR4 interested too, and my bro with his Calais..
Keep us updated on cost and date.
