Here is a very quick, and unedit (resize or compressed) photo. I do apologise for the size, I'll get better ones and smaller ones sometime over the weekend.
I was actually curious about the different appearance of the dials and the cost difference involved aswell. Everything is much clearer now, so is my decision on which dials to get.
Ruchi, I have the blue dials installed in my car. Looking at that picture, they look like the same as mine at night. I can show you what they look like on the cruise next weekend.

Atm I'm thinking of just going with the standard white dials. I can't really justify the price of the reverse ELs when they give off a similar look. I think the reverse ELs will be brighter, but hopefully that'll be countered by the hard work you've put into your LED project.
Some advise before you install, do not pull the needle and black cover off. The instructions say to cut off the old ones, do it! I pulled off the needles, thinking it would be easier to get the old dials off, and it was, but not so easy to get the needles back on again. If you look at my picture, you can see the tachometer rests at around 500 rpm, and is slightly off center. I actually broke this needle, and that is my best job to fix it.
Also, I get a bit of yellow light leaking from the needle. I think that detracts from the overall effect.
