Got problems with your sig??

Post by GPXXX »

If you are having gibberish HTML codes appearing on your signature, you can fix that by going into your signature section of the profile and click on the <> symbol...

Then just edit the singature to however you want it to appear...

Hope that helps... ;)

Hi Barfy ... here is how you do it.

As GPXXX stated. First click on the button that looks like <>

Then type:

Code: Select all

<img src="...">
the bit in the quotes is the location of the image. I've posted something in my signature to demonstrate it is possible.

I typed ...

Code: Select all

<IMG src="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y168/LucaGnezda/3doh.gif">
Let us know how you go :)

I think you might have a return character in there or something

Code: Select all

<IMG
src="http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/3/web/603000-603999/603117_9_full.jpg">
that is exactly what I have.

Ahhh ... but when I copy and paste it it breaks. The prob is either newline characters or other hidden characters.

Whereever you usee a new line in your sig, make sure it is just wrapping the text and not a new line character :)

ok if I copy the code above into my sig, it breaks. But if I then go to the code and double backspace between 'IMG' and 'src' then insert my own space it all works :)

Trust me this should be easy :lol:

I just did a small test and I think you should paste it then delete the space between "<IMG" and "src" so it is on one line then add the space again.
This will remove the newline and make it wrapped text and should work.

Nice F*ing interior btw.
