Cruise #4 - 27 May 07

Post by Sparhawk »

OK, Time to plan the next cruise. I'm trying to keep them as regular as possible, around once a month.

This time I'm planning a run down south. First head east into the hills, then South to Victor Harbour for lunch, and back up through the southern suburbs. I can only manage the 27th this month, or possibly the 20th, but 27th is way more convenient for me. I'll plan on the 27th at this stage unless no-one else can make it.

I received a whole stack of Official FTOA flyers today (a little more flash than my temporary ones we've been using), so I'll bring them with me on the day.

Also have tee'd up with Bennoz for a heap of club stickers. Should have them well before the cruise, so those who want them should be able to get them off me then as well at a bargain price of $5 each.

Look forward to seeing you all again soon. If you know any FTO owners who dont check the forums regularly, can you pass on the info from here please.

Cool.

Put aside 2 of the stickers and some flyers for me Steve :D

27th and Victor sounds fine by me, I always make the cruises a bit of a priority on my calendar.

Lookin forward to it...

So, here I was, with nothing to do today, so I decided to do a pre-cruise recce. (So I dont take any wrong turns next weekend, oh and to make sure there were no road works on my intended route)

I hope you all like twisty roads... Even with power steering, my arms are sore LOL. Seriously, I think it will be an awesome cruise. If you've ever been up Putty Rd in NSW, think of that and double or triple the length.

Lee is having second thoughts about coming next weekend cos I think I scared her a little

In the interest of safety, I suggest you all check your brakes and tyres (including tyre pressure) before next Sunday. Of course you all do this anyway. Its not all twisty roads though, so dont panic. There are also some nice sweeping bends...

Anyway, I'm looking forward to it even more now, just hope the weather holds out...

Sweet. I have 3. UHF I assume ?

Ive added up the nubers so far, and if everyone comes who said they will, we have 7 cars. Hope to drag a couple more in still. Tagged another one today, and trying to get hold of Gary from the last one. Would be awesome to break into double figures...
