Bodykit
I am considering to get a "VS Style" Front Bar or "CM4" Style Front Bar. (coz my old front bar is falling) Is there any bodykit shops you guys recommend in SA? how about carmate.com? is that a good idea to get one from carmate.com?

Not that helpful, but i couldn't let a post go without a response, especially for an Adelaide newbie
I havn't heard great things about carmate, not that i've heard much about them at all. I remember reading a post somewhere saying someone bought it but weren't too happy bout the quality. But 1 opinion is hardly scripture, and it's all just opinions...
Is this the one you're talking bout?
I just don't like the style of that bar, bit too cyber for me. IMO FTO is a smooth rounded body shape, stick wth a similar style like a blended DC or a Bozz speed and it stays sexy. Not a fan of the VS either for these reasons. My 2c worth.
This car is from Adelaide, I've seen him around a couple of times, but don't think he's a member. Had a 10 min cruise with him once, even had a chick in a car behind follow us! Really need some of those club stickers.
Here's his details on cardomain incase you wanna see if you can interrogate him...

Not sure about the CM4, got a pic or a link to it?
Apart from that, mine's a stock bodykit, so I can't recomend anyone to ya. Kit is still on my to do list which is bout the length of your average toilet roll. lol.
I'd be keen to know how it turns out though

Hmmm.
The pic of the car on the carmate site is not of an FTO. Wouldn't mind seeing one on the actual car...
It's different, still a little too cyber for me, but don't mind that one. Not mad keen on the "chop you off at the ankles if you get in my way" blade along the bottom. Flows a little better than the other one though.
Hendrix- Interested, although it would be a few months off yet. Will definitely keep this in mind. I'll interrogate you when I've got some spare cash...

i have bought that front end on that silver car just up abit. it looks sweet and im hanging to finish it. cost me $460 and $700 for extra fibre glass for lights, little youch ups and paint. They hate when i bring my car in.
getting my engine cover painted the same colour at the same time. cant wait.
