Re: Vanadinite's FTO
This is pretty much what im after
The bonnet is disgusting but the rest is beautiful IMHO.
So far i have the front bar, wide arches. All i need now is dstocks rear bar and skirts. Should be complete around february/march.
I love how they removed the indicator/fogs
That being said the biggest issue I see is the removal of the fog/indicators but if you look carefully he has indicators on the bottom of the bar in the ducting hole. Is it still illegal if i just relocate the indicator to that location?

Re: Vanadinite's FTO
That looks Fuken nice, especially with skirts blending into the arches .
And yeah it's legal, I looked into it when making up my front bar, but was too much effort.

Re: Vanadinite's FTO
As said on FB, looks pretty sweet when it's all together, but this part still bugs me. If I was to go to the trouble of fender flares I'd probably go with the bolt on over-fender type and blend them in, but that's just 'cause I like how they curve at the ends.

That end is very noticeable i think because of the white colour. If you look carefully at Jane's wide arches, they do the same thing but are far less noticeable. Im keeping the stock blue colour so mine will be quite dark.

Re: Vanadinite's FTO

I just asked her, found out she had hers cut down a small amount at the front to make it flow better. My bad!destinationtoby wrote:hers is less noticable because of the bar, not the color

a lot.bjk wrote:How many mm's are they actually wider?
I dont have specifics but according to Jane from the UK, she has 8" wide rims on a 30mm spacer with more room to go, plus her rims are on a +30/40 something offset

Re: Vanadinite's FTO
That is a big spacer. Question, how're you going about fitting the connection between the rear bar and the rear quarter (I think) panel?

Re: Vanadinite's FTO
The arches are getting fully moulded to the car by LOW.CO CUSTOMS. They're not just getting flushed or simply stuck on, they are being fully worked into the body. The front and rear bars are gonna be moulded wider to meet the arches to avoid that stuck on look. Basically its gonna be the same as Jane's from the UK, not like the white one i posted earlier in the thread.bjk wrote:That is a big spacer.
