i doubt the mechanic actually pulled sh*t apart to look at your timing belt, he probably jus saw it was around 100kms and suggested u replace it, meaning its not about to explode.

however if he did look at it and it is worn i wouldnt suggest a dyno since if your timing belt goes so does the rest of your engine ;)

Don't know, i've kind of lost track as its posted on 3-4 different clubs/forum.

I wonder what this dyno going to pump out this time, I hope is not one of those autosalon style one, where stock FTO pull 120kwatw.

No dyno ever be the same and since i doubt i will ever get any of my cars tune or service at Kamikaze, theres no point for me to go.

yeah your not wrong there.. he didnt pull it apart and there is a chance that it has already been replaced, however he did say just to be on the safe side to get it checked out and see whether it needs replacing.. when he jacked the car up there were leaks so he said his just assuming the belt hasnt been changed because if it had most likely the seals should have been changed as well.. & the leaks isnt a good sign because even if the belt has been replaced the oil will wear out the belt if its been in contact with it.. but anyhow.. y'all should come along.. whether or not you plan to service your car there, itll be good just to meet new peeps and check out others rides.. :P

Good point, do you know which series is Austin's E55? If its a W211, i'll be interested to see what it can pull, give and take +/- 10kwatw of course ehehee Is there any spot left for dyno? I might do it to have an indication of the different from the E55 and my sh*t box.

So whos going apart from m3nG?

Thats why i said i doubt i will ever get my car service there. But there's no complaint from the last round of dyno, so i guess at least they can do something right.

Should be able to squeeze you in. Drop by in the morning and we will slot you in. The location was posted above so just give an SMS to brandon and all should be fine. FTO338 the E55 is the 2004 version so quite recent. If you would like, we can put yours on 1 before the E55 as long as u come in the morning so we can get you in there. Still give Brandon a shout though
