dash lights

Does anyone know where to get brighter and whiter dash lights?
A number of the dash lights are a T6.5 wedge globe, I can find T5 and T10, but no T6.5
The T5 can fit in the holder for the T6.5, but as it is a smaller globe, the light is too pin-pointed and doesn't spread out enough, it also isn't a tight enough fit.
Alternatively, are there any other options... e.g. is there someway to fit a T10 in place of a T6.5 (by replacing the base)
