Hey, every now and then recently i've been getting a kinda metallic squealing almost grinding sort of sound when i have the wheels turned about 3/4 of the way around, but only when the wheel's turned to the right, and only seems to do it when travelling slowly (1st gear slow manoeuvring, like parking etc.)
any ideas on what it might be?
Cheers!

Sounds like it's time to change your brake pads. Better do it before you start eating away at your rotors.

you sure about that? coz it does it without the brakes being on...

Hmm......without the brakes being on huh? Ok in that case not really sure but check your rotors anyway to see if they're still even. If it's not your brake pads then I have no idea.

its your pads for sure!
A lot of people dont know that without you even applying pressure to your brakes, your pads are still in contact with your rotors.
100% your problem.

yeah...also they probably have the wear indicator which will come in and out as the pads wear more and as the pads float on and off the rotor while not being used.

Thirded - pad change time. That 'pad change time' marker will squeal on the rotor at just about any time if the pads are thin enough.

yeah, i think you're right, im starting to get a squeal when i brake at a certain pressure as well. weird though, when i got a brake test done a couple of months ago they said the pads had about 80% i think it was... guess i must go through brake pads quicker than i thought...

Sounds wierd, guess they didn't really check.
