FTO AUSTRALIA

Just got my renewal from Just Car today and I wanna know if they discount. So has anyone ever negotiated a better deal from them? I just don't want to call up and try to negotiate by saying that another company has a better deal and then have J/C say they are sticking to their price when any other company most likely won't insure my FTO.

Also on a side note I'd have thought that by (finally) moving to a rating 1 (from 2) and now being 25 that my renewal would be cheaper - but no, it's around $35 more expensive

At Just Car Insurance, they remove your age excess when you turn 25 but the premium remains unchanged. As for your rating, that sounds a bit dodgy. Your premium should definitely have gone down. Call them up and query this - maybe there's another reason why it went up.
