Turbo MIVEC FTO - From Melb $10k

Hey guys, i dont know if this car has been posted before but it looks alright..
do you think this guy maybe shonky even thinking about posting his car for $10,000 only for his TURBO fto?? i dont know.. tell me what you think...

Yes its been posted heaps of times, this use to be a member's car, in fact, he was in the original committee.
And no this kid is not sell it for 10k, his got a reserve of $20k, and that kid bought it for $12k. Car for sales section have a lot of info on this car. At least 4 threads. So you can read all the cons about it.

This is an ex-member's car of the club, mikey's car and its been on sale for a few months, it doesnt have an engineering certificate for the turbo, which makes it illegal to drive, and i don't think he can get a certificate now since he got it done from some shonky place (not sure why he cant), he's tried to sell it numerous times on the forums, and his posts have been locked and also on ebay nobody bought it, so he put it up for a bit, last time he did that it got upto like 18,000 but they ended up figuring out it wasnt legal so here he is, yet again.. trying to sell it, and nobody (i hope) is stupid enough to buy it.. a pity really

He should just sell the turbo then sell the car, I reacon that body kit is great very unique.

It is pretty unique, it was kind of one of the kind and now the unique thing about it, its falling apart. You got to thanks the dealer for that.

man, when the f**k is this car gonna be stopped being posted on this forum. I check the forums once in a while now and Mikeys ex-car is always bloody there!
At least i know I beat that thing in my stock mr2 hehehehe

Relax bro, not many people know much about mikey's ex car, sure its got lots of work, and the bullsh*t kw that the kid had posted now (actual kw is 130kwatw) but it isn't that fast on the road. If I can keep up with it in a N/A FTO then any decent stock Jap turbo car can kill it easy.
The really con about this car is that if you take it to a mountain, then you really need a life insurance, as even though its got LSD and semi slick tyres, it understeer like a bitch during corner when the boost comes on at only 5psi. FTOLUV, Slither & I know this, as we use to do regular run with mikey on mountains and long cruises in other car club together.
The funny thing is he put down Supra, Skyline beater in ebay (which is not a hope in hell) but in another place he put down, willing to trade for a Skyline R32.
