Boot Lock

My boot got broken into and the lock was forced out. I got the lock fixed but I am unable to fit it back on. It seems loose and I do not know how to clip it in so it doesn't keep falling out.
PLEASE HELP!!

There is a circlip on the inside, have a look inside your boot or inside the boot lid, if not then get one from Mitsubishi.

yes i found this clip looking thing. I have no idea how to clip it on though!!
maybe i should take some photos and let you guys point it out?

lol put an LED cluster there...and make it flash etc...have different colors and freak everyone out.
