Where you would buy the engine flush I think,
Lee has done mine before, apparently it has to be done once a year or every 20000kms for tip boxs. Seems to be bit too quick though

About to get mine done and I recommend a complete purg of the system, including the torque converter which will result in about 10 ltrs of transmission fluid. Also you need to change the transmission filter. Auto 1 have an aftermarket one for $11.60, the number is KFS718.

I got the transmission oil filter and the 8 litres of the redline synthetic high temp atf I just need to find this flush stuff. Didn't find it when I bought engine oil flush.

My torque converter was replaced about 3 years ago when I accidentally thought I was in tiptronic mode and shifted to neutral the back to drive at around 7000rpm.

Anything else inside the box that would need to be looked at?

There are a few different ways of doing it and a few differnt areas to clean. Have a look at it. I think it was a free article. www.autospeed.com

I did teh good ol undo the transmission line and run the engine until it all comes out. They also suggest taking the pan off and cleaning up the gunk in there too... I might try this one day.

Looks interesting but you gotta pay to read the rest of the article.

the pan is really hard to take off because of the bolts... theres no area to get em off with a socket driver... unless u want to take the radiator fans off first
