Handbrake adjustment

How does one go about this on an fto?

Open you centre console, remove the two screws from the rear of it, remove the 2 from the front of it. Pull the centre console section out.

See the 10mm brass nut on the end of the handbrake cable? (which should now be visible)

Release the handbrake & start winding that nut up. You will need a small pair of pliers or shifter to grab to flat steel section on the cable to stop it turning as you wind the nut on.

i remember doing that to mine haha but i have to adjust it from the rear drum brake as well, obviously can't do it myself :lol:

Ahh yes, forgot about the rear adjustment - you can see it in this guide for changing the rear pads. Same thing, 10mm nut.
